Some dainty pieces can elevate our look and make us look different in the crowd. But these pieces can get tarnished or lose their shine. With proper care and precautions, we can make our stainless steel pieces last for a prolonged period and look sassy every time we wear them.
Take a bowl of hot water and pour some liquid soap into it. Create a concoction, and after a couple of minutes, you will see the mixture has become foamy. In a bowl of lukewarm water, create a mixture of baking soda and distilled white vinegar in a ratio of 1:2, respectively. Mix it well until baking soda gets combined with the liquids thoroughly. Put your jewelry pieces in them to rest for an hour (minimum). At last, rinse the pieces of jewelry with some clean water, and here we get our shiny pieces of jewelry.
This step comes to play when you clean your stainless steel rings. Pour some drops of sanitizer into a paper towel and rub the jewelry gently. Later rinse your pieces using clean water and dry them using a paper towel or a dry cloth. Take a microfiber cloth and dip it in olive oil. Make sure you have a microfiber cloth, as these can clean the microparticles in cracks and crevices better than other fabrics that only remove dirt and grease from the surface. Rub the cloth gently against your stainless steel jewelry thoroughly. It is super easy and convenient, especially if you are out of time, because you will get the shine back within a few minutes.
How much time does it take before a piece of stainless steel jewelry gets tarnished?
Ans. They do not get tarnished in a small period, but too much exposure to heat and moisture can make them lose their shine. Also, maintain them after wearing, as the moisture and salts from our sweat can reduce their luster.

Ans. You should store your stainless steel pieces in a zip-lock bag. Alternatively, you can also keep them in a box. Keep your stainless steel pieces in a separate jewelry box away from your rose gold and sterling silver pieces. It will help your jewelry stay shiny for a more prolonged period.
